Why did you choose to become a musician??
I grew up in a family of musicians, and music played a big part in our everyday life, so the choice was not that difficult.

What was your greatest experience as a musician?
Music has taken me many places and it has brought me together with many amazing musicians that I have played with. So it is difficult to find one experience. But here are some selections from my career as a professional musician that have meant a lot.

For a 10 year long period I played in the flute trio "Flutention". We met at the conservatory and played together at competitions, concerts, attended courses around the world, and recorded a couple of CDs together.

Another great experience was when in 2011 I had the opportunity to go with the Odense Symphony Orchestra to China for 14 days.

In 2016, I played a number of concerts in Israel together with Haderslev Cathedral's girls' choir, where both my daughters sang along.

The funnest experience with the orchestra has probably been the concert with Luciano Pavarotti in 2007. It was memorable in many ways.

Concerts that are otherwise clear in my memory are my solo performances with my colleagues Thomas Jensen and Jorunn Solløs. The years with Iona Brown as chief conductor were also very special! Many of the concerts are still very clear and I remember her rehearsal work in particular as being instructive and inspiring.
