Sønderjylland's Symphony Orchestra has a network of partners who financially support the orchestra's work. This support plays a key role in enabling many of the orchestra's events and contributes to the development of the Sønderjylland Symphony Orchestra. This helps to increase the cultural offer in the whole of South and Southern Jutland, which is the orchestra's home ground. We are deeply grateful for the commitment our partners show, as many of our events would not be possible without this support. 

Sønderjylland Symphony Orchestra Friends Association

A special thank you must go to the Sønderjylland Symfoniorkesters Venneforening, which for more than 25 years has provided invaluable support in the form of financial support for conductors and soloists. The Venneforeningen, with its 650 private members, is an independent association whose purpose is to support the Sønderjylland Symphony Orchestra. They have, among other things, exclusive access to selected dress rehearsals and concert introductions.

The Association of Friends

ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION

The Venneforeningen is an independent association whose purpose is to support the Symphony Orchestra.

The association's almost 700 members are an important part of the orchestra's hinterland and invaluable supporters and ambassadors. The Venneforeningen provides, among other things, financial support for the orchestra.

As a member, you also get access to selected dress rehearsals and concert introductions, member magazines and programs for the concerts organized by the Symphony Orchestra. In addition, excursions to other concert halls are arranged.

Membership costs DKK 150 per year. You can contact the chairman Sverre Nielsen by email: sverresunivers@gmail.com or register via the button below.

  • Michala Petri plays baroque
    Dry. on 19 Sep at 10.00 – 12.30 (note that this takes place on Skovvej)
