Anna Kristina Hindø was born, raised and educated in Germany.

She started her education at the Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz, with Professor Klaus Marx, where from 1987-1991 she received her education as a Diplommusiklehrer.

From 1991-1994 she studied at the Folkwanghochschule Essen with Professor Young-Chang Cho and was educated here as an Orchestra Diploma.

In 1994, Anna Kristina Hindø won the place as 1st solo cellist in the Southern Jutland Symphony Orchestra.
