Elias Heigold was born in Switzerland in 1984.

Employed in Sønderjylland Symphony Orchestra as 1st solo trumpeter from August 2012

Elias Heigold has played most of his life on everything from clarion to violin before his love fell on the trumpet.

He completed his education from the Lucerne Conservatory of Music in Switzerland with a Bachelor in Music Pedagogy with Professor Jörg Conrad and a Master in Arts in Music Performance with Philippe Litzler and Markus Würschi in February 2012.

And although Elias Heigold has played in several orchestras including the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, Lucerne Festival Academy, Schweizer Jugendsinfonieorchester and Valiant Festival Orchestra, this is his first permanent position in a symphony orchestra.

Elisas Heigold is married and lives with his wife in Sønderborg.
