Samuel Moosman
Samuel Moosmann was born in 1971 in Freiburg, Germany, to a Danish mother and a German father.
He started his violin studies in 1989 at Musikhochshule Heidelberg, Mannheim with Professor Roman Nodel. In 1996, he took his final exam with the same professor with the highest distinction.
In the same year, Samuel Moosmann passed the entrance exam for the soloist class with Professor Peder Elbæk at the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen and was granted the conservatory's Stradivarius to borrow during his studies.
Samuel Moosmann played his debut concert in 1998 in Copenhagen and has subsequently played in the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Opera in Copenhagen and the Sinfonieorchester Münster, among others.
Since 2009, Samuel Moosmann has been employed as third violinist in the second violin group in Sønderjylland's Symphony Orchestra
