Rumen Lukanov
Rumen Lukanov, who has been the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra's 1st concertmaster since 1997, was born in 1968 in Bulgaria.
He studied at the Carl M. von Weber Conservatory in Dresden 1983-88 with Prof. Gustav Schmahl. Later, Rumen Lukanov studied at, among others, Hochschule für Musik and at the Yale School of Music-Artist, and in 1993 he was a private student of the famous American violin teacher Dorothy De Lay.
