The orchestra at Tønder Festival

Tønder Festival is one of Northern Europe's oldest festivals, and this particular festival is known for its authentic folk and roots artists and great concert experiences with an intimate atmosphere. This year the festival can celebrate its 50th anniversary, and Sønderjylland's Symphony Orchestra is proud to be part of celebrating such a great achievement. Together with Torodd Wigum, former chief conductor of the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, and the Norwegian folk singer Bjørn Eidsvåg, we will fill the marsh with what we love most: The special and the real - music created with care.
