Anders and Benjamin's musical collaboration stretches back many years and moves in the borderland between classical and jazz with strong rhythmic traces.
Anders Koppel is one of Denmark's most versatile and productive composers and musicians. He was a co-founder of Savage Rose, where his characteristic organ playing became a central feature.
He later became a prominent figure on the Danish world music scene as a member of Bazaar.
We know Benjamin Koppel as an excellent saxophonist and as an author of, among other things, Anna's song – which he helped give musical form to in the Book Concert: Anna's song in the summer of 2025.

Christian Øland is the new chief conductor
A new era has begun for The Danish Philharmonic Orchestra, one of great ambition and a fresh musical outlook. Standing on the conductor's podium is now Christian Øland, a Danish conductor with Nordic roots, international experience, and, above all, a deep love for classical music.
He already knows the orchestra well. He has conducted it on several occasions, leading everything from grand symphonies to enchanting family concerts. And now, he will lead it, not just for a concert or two, but on an entire journey.

We are a regional orchestra – the entire regional orchestra. Every week we play for audiences throughout southern Jutland, an area with more than 700,000 enthusiastic spectators.
With our roots firmly planted in the local community, we create magical moments regardless of whether we perform in Sønderborg, Tønder, Aabenraa, Haderslev, Kolding, Flensburg or Schleswig. In The Danish Philharmonic Orchestra, we have an ambition that our presence and passion for music is always within reach and accessible to our audience.

The Christmas Show of All Time
TV 2 and the Southern Jutland Symphony Orchestra are repeating the success from last year and inviting you to another TV 2 All-Time Christmas Show in Alsion. The concerts will take place in the Alsion Concert Hall, Tuesday 24 November at 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
TV2 Alletiders Juleshow is traditionally broadcast on TV 2 and TV 2 Play during the Christmas holidays and is known for presenting a star-studded line-up, last year with names such as Christopher, Poul Krebs, Signe Svendsen, Andrea Lykke, Peter Sommer and Amalie Dollerup. With hundreds of thousands of viewers across the country, it will also mark Sønderborg as a city that is wooing the role of cultural lighthouse.
